| Good Location for Visiting the Space Center, But Pricey and Nothing Special | |
This resort is full of long-termers. The sites are very close together and on the small side. We had a flat, paved, full-hookup site not far from the office. The site services worked well. WiFi was poor and not really usable. There was no picnic table or grill on our site.
They had separate shower rooms that were modern and clean, and a small laundry room and fitness center.
Some of the sites at the back of the resort were by the bayou. They also have some cottages you can rent.
The reason we stayed here was its proximity to the nearby Space Center, which was only 15 mins away. Other popular nearby attraction is the Kemah Boardwalk.
There was nothing special about the place and it was very pricey. We paid $57.50 a night with a Good Sam discount. This part of Texas is very urban and just north there are miles of chemical plants, so unless you're here for the Space Center, I would skip Houston.

| Very clean and well mantained | |
This park is well maintained and very clean. The office staff is courtious and helpful. All spaces and roads are paved and the location is next to the bay and Kemah boardwalk.
The negatives are, the park is a little pricey and the spaces are a little small.

Great place to relax after a day full of action. Close to the Kemah Boardwalk and Space Center. Also not too far from Galveston Island. Nice people, nice amenities. I would definitely return.

Very nice park, fully paved, and in the heart of a great area. The Johnson Space Center is nearby, and in Kemah there are many excellent restaurants to tempt you. From our campsite we had an excellent view of the bay, and enjoyed watching roseate spoonbills slowly work their way through the water, catching food. A secure place to stay, with excellent amenities. Just down the road a piece is Galveston for more great eating and sightseeing.
