| An old but well-maintained RV park | |
Hill Country RV Park looks old but at least it is aging gracefully, so unlike many older RV parks that have become rundown over the years. It's no wonder that every time we come here, the place is always full. The grounds are clean and well-kept, although it's always dusty when the wind blows, given that the roads are mostly packed dirt. The sites are gravel but level. They've got full hookups plus cable and wi-fi, though you'd be lucky to have fast internet access at night. The fixtures and facilities may be dated, but they're functioning very well. The bathhouses need a makeover, but otherwise they're very clean and have nice running water. I wouldn't call this a top-level RV park, but at least it's a pleasant place that is holding up well over the years.
