very nice park !!!

Stayed for 4 days in some very wet weather so the grounds were pretty soggy but the park was very nice. Nice large sites with plenty of room and a nice pool. Very clean and spacious bathrooms. Wish we could have enjoyed more but the weather didn't co-operate. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

We only stayed overnight but it had great pull thru sites so we did not have to unhook our toad. We did not use the pool or other facilities but overall the campground looked well maintained. It was quiet. Would stop there again.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

We stopped here on 28 May 2012 after a long day's drive. The park staff was very friendly, helpful, and gave us a nice shady site with full hookups for the evening. It's not far off the Interstate and the Flying J but the hills around the park cut the noise off. We had a very quiet night sleeping with the windows open in the cool mountain air. Will stay here again.

Great for overnight stays

We always stop over at Fort Chiswell's whenever we are in the area, though never longer than an overnight stay. It's a nice place to stop by on the way to other destinations. The place is clean and well-maintained, with roomy and level enough sites as well as adequate shade. The staff are very friendly and the campground has easy access to the interstate. Full Hookups available, as well as decent cable and wi-fi. Only complaint here is the interior roads are quite narrow and tricky to maneuver if you've got a big RV.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Staff were friendly. Catfish pond is interesting. Pool is good. Fine for short stay.
