| What camping should always be about | lonjf2 Silver September 12, 2012 |
If you want the best views of Big Sur, you should stay at Kirk Creek. The sights from the bluff overlooking the coastline are simply breathtaking. Aside from the restrooms, there are no hookups or other facilities here, so you're forced to chill out and commune with nature. The water here is not potable, though, so bring your own water. Also, no dump site, so make sure your tank is empty before you come here. The sites are not big-rig friendly, even though some websites say they are. It's isolated, but getting away to a place like this is good for the soul.
We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome. | | Comments (0) |
