An Ocala Snowbird Hide-away

Welcome to camping in the worlds largest sandpine scrub ecosystem. Enjoy wildlife watching for scrub jays, sandhill cranes, gopher tortises, bears, and eagles. The newly remodeled Big Bass Campground reopened in 2011 after a two year closure. New to the campground are elongated RV sites for big rigs; new vault toilets; ADA accessible sites; and a renovated water system. Campers can stay up to 120 days! Use your Golden Age Pass and camp for only $5.00 a night!

One hour from Orlando and the attractions. Close to the Centennial OHV Trail where you can take a 47 mile ride on your ATV or UTV. Big Bass can be your base to visit the numerous local area natural springs including the famous Juniper Springs.
