This is one of the cleanest, and quietest parks I have stayed in. The bath/shower house is in good location for campsites. The site are well maintained. The only problem is the road to the lake has a detour on it. Some signs telling you not to enter at the road and follow the detour signs would be easier. We are from out of state and didn't know where the campground was so we took the road not knowing it was on the other side of detour. Turning around was very hard to do.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

Campers can choose between lakeside or hillside camping. I have always preferred lakeside because of the dock for fishing. This is a perfect place for bike riding and exploring the woods. There are always nature shows which always kept my attention as a child. The lake is very nice to swim in, however can be crowded during the peak season. This lake is perfect for those who are just learning how to canoe or kayak as there are no waves. There is an area next to the manmade dam where you can climb down and follow the water through a small valley. There is always something to do here.
