Local Directions: In Hill City, SD, at the intersection of East Main St (US Rt. 16/385) and Deerfield Rd, take US Rt. 385 north 3.7 miles to a "T" intersection and Rapid City sign. Turn left at sign onto Rt. 385 and go 1.7 miles to Sheridan Lake Recreation Area sign (Calumet Rd. - Forest Rt. 392). Turn right onto Rt. 392 and go 1 mile to campground.
