Camping right against the rocks, beautiful to explore and climb. Nothing better than going to sleep under the desert sky and waking up to an incredible sunrise
We stayed here in a Tent.

Nice location but not big-rig friendly

Indian Cove is a good spot to go camping inside Joshua Tree, but not if you have a big rig. The roads inside the campground were too narrow to navigate with a large motorhome and the site we got was too narrow as well. No hookups or showers, just pit toilets. They don't have water or a dumpsite either. The use of generators was limited to only a few hours and at certain times in a day. If you're camping in a tent or a small trailer, this place is perfect. But if you have a big rig, I think Jumbo Rocks Campground is a better option.
We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.
