Local Directions:
The closest entrance to Ryan Campground is the north entrance. From the city of Twenty Nine Palms proceed east on Highway 62 ( 29 Palms Highway). Turn right on Utah Trail and proceed to the park entrance. Utah Trail turns into National Park blvd. Proceed approximately 17 miles to the campground. You will pass Jumbo Rocks and Sheepskin Pass campgrounds on the left at mile 10 and mile 14. The entrance to Ryan Campground will be on the left side of the road.

One of the best campgrounds in Joshua Tree National Park. Beautiful nature around and a lot of possibilities for hiking. There are restrooms - nothing more. No water, no showers and nothing but the park.
We stayed here in a Tent.
