We had a very good time here. It was a bit different from our usual stays but in a good way. Many things are on the honor system. Firewood and ice have cash boxes mounted nearby to pay. Ice is $2 and fire wood $4. The park is fairly new, there has been a lot of hard work. The creative rainwater drainage is great. I wanted it to rain during my stay so I could see it in action. Our spot had a natural rock retaining wall that blended into a fire pit. Very nice. There is cable TV and WiFi. There a few long term camps, but they are well kept and everyone we met was friendly and chatty. We went on Labor Day so the park was full. Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park are nearby. There are also antique stores and a nice coffee stand which has a shop too, (The Spot) in Fort Payne.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

Very Accommodating Hosts

Fairly new campground run by very gracious hosts. I was pleasantly surprised that they honored my Passport America discount card even though we stayed during the weekend. This was a plus factor for me considering I've spent years camping all over and stayed in campgrounds that would only honor my discount card during the weekdays. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
