Horrible experience - don't recommend

My husband was taking a shower at the public shower facilities. A man (who works at Shady Creek) yelled at my husband. He said, "You are not a guest here. These facilities are for guests only." My husband said, "I guess i'm no longer a guest, I'm leaving"

He came back to the RV, we packed up and left immediately. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. We don't recommend it. Managers were rude and customer service was poor.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park if you need to be in this area

We stayed here in late December. The park is not fancy but clean and well maintained. Our site was gravel and not very level. The pool was closed and we did not use any of the other facilities. The main plus was location since we have people we visit in the area.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

This park is a convenient stay when we visit our daughter in Aubrey. Shopping is convenient (convenience store on the corner, Super Wal-Mart about 3-4 miles away in Frisco). Our site was fairly level, although several are not. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The pool is nice and kept fairly clean although the furnishings at the pool need to be repaired and/or replaced. The park is quiet, the streets are paved, sites are gravel and have sufficient space between sites with enough room to park your vehicle at your site. Our biggest issue is that the management doesn't keep the grass mowed around the sites. They do a little better job of keeping the common areas mowed. The park is kid and pet friendly. Many long term residents but the sites are clean of debris. This park is a good value and we will plan to stay here regularly when visiting our daughter.
