This place had everything we could have asked for! It seemed that every site overlooked the lake and the views are stunning. Great for bike riding and they have well-maintained nature trails. The sites are all very close to the bathhouse and restrooms. Sites with water and electric are $16 daily. Sites with water only are $10. On our way home we tried out William B. Bankhead NF & found that for tent campers Talladega was much more enjoyablein my opinion. Coming from Centreville or Brent head down 5, turn right on Payne Lake Rd or 25 & continue until you see signs for Payne Lake Campground. You'll pass a sign that says You're Now Leaving Talladega NF.
