We were very impressed by this campground. Beautifully situated in woods, with large sites. Not all had sewer connections, so be careful on which site you select based on your preferences. Also, lots of turns and hills getting to most of the sites.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Great Campground Close to Atlanta

We met my wife's parents here. The kids had not seen their grandparents in quite a while because we were in the military. Grandma was in their 5th wheel and for some reason grandpa pulled the release on the 5th wheel and off down the hill the camper went. He had not placed the chocks under the wheels; luckily the tailgate on the truck kept the camper from rolling into the woods. The park is by the bus line that will take you to the metro station to ride the sub way into town.

Stayed here with our FMCA chapter for a medium-size rally. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. This is a huge campground with multiple areas; many sites are lakefront or lake view. We had the sites up front at the pool, playground, pavilion area and they were amazing. Large level sites have cozy decks and picnic tables and include expensive stainless steel gas grills. (LP included) the staff was seen going by the sites on Tuesday cleaning the grills! Nice on-site store and firewood available for purchase. Be sure to take in the free laser show and take the skylift up to the top of the mountain. Atlanta is about 45 minutes away. This is a Passport America campground so get your discount.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

We camped in a space near the water and it was nice and quiet. The bathrooms could use some work but they were okay. We enjoyed the free lazer show and enjoyed our four days there.

If you go here you definitely want to get the family value pass. It includes drinks and food through out the day and a Laser light show plus Sky Rides and a lot of other cool things to do. Kids loved it, but a little expensive for us.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.
