Beautiful Campground - Fabulous for Both Adults and Kids

We had a waterfront, back-in, full-hookup site. It was a level, gravel site and the services worked well. The campground is in a quiet, scenic location next to a beautiful lake. It's about 2 miles south of Route 1 and about 45 mins to Acadia NP. New owners took over the campground in the summer and were very welcoming and friendly.

On weekends, they serve breakfast and dinner at the campground restaurant. We had both and the food was delicious.

They have a beach and swimming area in the lake and boat rentals - both canoes, kayaks, and various powerboats. We went out on the pontoon boat and had an amazing time exploring the lake.

WiFi worked well as did the washer/dryers. Didn't use the bathhouse.

We had a campfire every night looking out at the lake.

Highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.
