	Pretty Okay Park Close to the City

The good: Sites were mostly level, paved and well-shaded. Lots of activities for the kids. Nice view of the lake. Friendly staff. Bathrooms are okay but a bit primitive for me. The bad: Not every site has a picnic table or fire pit. Noise level is pretty bad because it's not only close to the highway but also close to the airfield so the airplanes taking off can really be an ear-sore. Limited cellphone access. WiFi only available in the office. Lots of skunks lurking about. We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

	Awesome Camping for the Whole Family

It's such an awesome park very close to the city. The sites are fully paved and fairly level. Electric hookups were working fine, except for a few where the voltage seems to drop during the evening. The staff here were so helpful and friendly and accommodating. We called up the front desk to talk to them about this and they immediately transferred us to another site. There was plenty of grass and shade here. Lots of activities for the kids. It's pretty close to the highway, but because the campground was so large, there's barely any road noise heard in our site. Make sure to take some time to watch the sunsets from the ridge overlooking the lake. The boys tried fishing in the lake, and managed to get their first catch ever. The only reason why I didn't give this place a perfect 5 is because of the skunks that roam around here, especially at night. You really have to take care where you're walking. Would definitely come back We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.
