Great campsite, within feet of the ocean with great sunsets. Clayton, a town fixture, prepares nightly lobster dinners with all the fixin's. Makes the trip worthwhile. The staff at KOA were great folks and they have a culinary waffle creator who makes unique waffles. Best KOA so far...

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Like every KOA, the staff is friendly and accomodating. Also like every KOA, the sites are very close to one another. That being said, you still seem to to have a sense of privacy. We were right on the water which was a little pricey for just camping. Our kids had a blast and we felt safe allowing to roam the campground together.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Surprising Stay At KOA

Although this took place many years ago, when I first met my wife. We drove to Bar Harbor Maine to stay at "another" camp ground which turned out had floored a few nights before. Luckily was were able to get a refund and decided to stay at this KOA Site. We setup our tent unknowing what would happen in the morning. The tide came in and we woke up with water less then two feet away from our tent. KOA Stepped forward and offered Us Another spot which was more romantic then the one we had selected on our own. We will Always remember the morning getting up peering out through the trees and through dense fog.. The Chill, Rain or Fog deuter our spirits and This KOA Made Sure Of that.
