After making a reservation and being assured that a pull-through space would be available for my motorhome with car in tow, we arrived at about 2:30 pm to find that nobody was in the office. When I called, I learned that the owners were away, but one of them tried to explain on the phone where my site was located. After enlisting the help of their maintenance man, who said he was new and knew little, we realized that this campground was planning for us to use their sewage dump station as our pull-through site. A sign at the site plainly said that the water there was not potable. Their maintenance person suggested that we could string our water hose to a nearby shed to obtain drinkable water. Needless to say, my wife and I found such an arrangement unsatisfactory, so we found another campground nearby where we could stay. Find another place to stay. This place is a sad-looking dump.
We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome. | | Comments (0) |
