We stayed here while having the RV serviced at the Freightliner facility nearby. Bill, the owner, provided a map showing local shopping, a listing of cable channels, and a list of rules/expectations. All of which was helpful, and we were very interested in enjoying our stay there. Residents can purchase extra ice at the campground. There is a fenced dog park under some trees, which keeps it cool. Things were quiet enough to hear the local rooster in the morning and birds in the afternoon. Bill gave us credit for being Good Sam members, even though this is not a Good Sam park. The site was fairly level, and hook-ups were easy to access. Overall, it was a good experience.

| Convenient for an Overnight Stay | |
Just south of the NC/SC border and a short, convenient drive from Interstate 85, this campground is far enough away from the highway to escape the traffic noise. We had a full-hookup, level, pull-through site at a reasonable Passport America rate. The friendly and accommodating owner, Bill, remained in the office nearly an hour after the usual closing time to greet us, escort us to our site and to make sure that we felt welcomed.
Although cable TV was advertised in their brochure, I was never able to find a hookup for it. The free Wi-Fi worked, but as I have found in most campgrounds, it was slow. We were soothed by the soft sounds of whistles from freight trains traveling on tracks which are about a half-mile away.
This campground is not fancy or scenic, but the connections are modern, sites are level, rates are reasonable and it was a convenient stopping point for us during our travels. It met our needs by providing us with a restful break from our travels.
