Primitive Tent Camping only
Camping is by permit only and limited to 7 consecutive calendar days. Camping permit fee is $12/night and is limited to the 4 established sites, with a maximum of 5 campers/site/night and a 20 maximum campers/night for the entire campground. Campsites are limited to a maximum of 2 vehicles/site/night and each vehicle must be parked within the space provided and display a permit. The monument's $25.00 entrance fee, valid for 7 consecutive days, is required in addition to the camping permit.
Campers may use sleeping bags, tents, passenger cars, pick-ups with camper shells or small camper unties mounted in the bed of a pickup truck, or vans with pop-up sleeper units. RVs, motorhomes, and trailers are not allowed in Alamo Campground. Self register for camping at the campground. Unregistered vehicles are subject to citation or towing at the owners expense.
