Local Directions: Travelers on I-40 east bound and west bound: Take I-75 North in Knoxville, Tennessee. Take the Oneida-Huntsville Exit (141) onto Highway 63. Follow Highway 63 west for 21 miles through Huntsville to U.S. 27. Turn right on U.S. 27 and drive north 17.5 miles crossing into the state of Kentucky. Turn left onto Highway 1470. (Caution: there is a railroad track crossing at this location.) Travel about 5.4 miles to an intersection on a gravel road. Stay right at the intersection and continue another mile to the next intersection. Turn left and follow the gravel road approximately half a mile to the last intersection and turn right. Follow the road another mile to reach Bear Creek Horse Camp.
