This park has easy access to the area sites. We received an escort to our site and had easy mail acceptance. Sites were close but well groomed and paved. OK for big rigs, but very little shade in Texas heat. Nice store and pool.
We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome. | | Comments (0) |

| A nice enough park overall | |
Overall, Braunig Lake is nice enough. Not really fancy, but a good place to use as a base for visiting the historic sites in the area. It's close to the major attractions, around 10 minutes, and there are plenty of shopping options too. The first site we got, which was on the creekside, was pretty narrow and too close to our neighbor, but we were able to get an upgrade to a lakeside site, which is much roomier. Full hookups available, including wi-fi and cable. The bathrooms and the laundry room are clean, though the laundry room is a bit too small. The staff were friendly and accommodating to us and made our stay here quite pleasant. If we're in this part of Texas again, we're definitely going to stay here again.
We stayed here in a 5th Wheel. | | Comments (0) |
