Local Directions: From Southern California: Take I-8 east to Yuma, past the Colorado River crossing. Get off at Winterhaven/ Fourth Avenue (Exit 172). Merge right on Winterhaven and drive south to West 3rd Street (Winterhaven turns into Fourth Avenue). Turn right and drive about ¾ mile. The community is on the right. From Phoenix or Tucson: Take I-10 to I-8 and travel west to Yuma. Get off at Winterhaven /Fourth Avenue (Exit 172). Turn left on Winterhaven Drive and go south to West 3rd Street (Winterhaven turns into Fourth Avenue). Turn right and drive about ¾ mile. The community is on the right.

Description
Friendly and Cozy RV Park located in the Legendary Old West city of Yuma

Shady Acres is a cozy, age 55-plus RV community located in the historic Western city of Yuma. Some manufactured home rentals are also available. Yuma offers pleasant desert warmth all year round, along with cooling effects from the Colorado River.

The community offers a peaceful, tranquil setting, with colorful foliage, blooming shrubs, and tall trees scattered throughout the grounds. The pull-through RV spaces provide full hookups and paved patios. Daily, weekly, and monthly rentals are available. Amenities include basic cable, a recreation hall, shower facilities, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, a dog walk, and washer and dryer facilities with clothes lines. Pets are accepted under community policies. A grocery and drug store are walking distance away.

The onsite staff at Shady Acres offers friendly, caring service. It is a lively community with many activities available, ranging from bingo, crafts, and Bible study classes to potlucks, pancake breakfasts, and jam sessions.

Other Policies
Pets
Your furry friends are welcome within the community. Never
leave pets unattended outside of your RV/home and keep them inside during quiet hours. Keep all
pets on a 6' leash. Do not walk your pets in other sites, buildings or pool area. A dog walk is
available for you to use. Prevent your pet from urinating on plants, patios, buildings and
walkways. Please pick up and properly dispose of all droppings. Pets must be kept under
control at all times. Barking is disturbing so please be considerate of your neighbors and
residents. You are responsible for any damage done by your pet.
Pool
No lifeguard on duty - use at your own risk. Pool rules are available at the office and a pool code will be provided upon request.

10pm - 8am
Visitors
Over night visitors must check-in at the leasing office.
If you are staying for 30 days or more, a rental agreement is required.
All visitors must abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the community.
