My family loves this campground and Seashore is upgrading and adding new every season. This past summer the large lake was completely redone with large white sandy beach, lounge chairs and a double slide. Many weekends a DJ provides music and the lake is the place to be. They've added a huge new bath house and laundry and beautiful cabins. They even have two lovely full size homes for rent for large families and reunions. Plus, our kids are just 6 miles from Wildwood and hubby and I just 3 miles to Cape May. We love that there is a fitness center and full menu at the snack bar, an activity center and even a library. Lots of planned activities, 24 hr security at gate, very friendly staff who help us find the favorite spots for locals. Seashore is a real gem with so much to explore!

| Spacious shady sandy level sites... BUT: | |
Bathrooms & laundry facilities in dire need of upgrades (half of the washers were out of order & the dryers sounded like jet engines). 25¢ showers (needed 50¢ for a fully cleansing shower). Bathrooms need flow-through ventilation (not A/C but a breeze would be nice). If the owners and/or management would sink a bit of money into the buildings for much-needed upgrades & maintenance, I would rate it a 5 out of 5, but the poor condition of the shower and laundry facilities lose it at least 1 full point. Almost forgot to add that the wi-fi here is piss poor and that is being kind. You're better off using 3G (which is what my iPhone uses). Using my iPad (wi-fi enabled only) the best time (the ONLY time) I get anything is either very LATE at night or very early in the morning, whichever way you want to look at, 1:30 AM. Overall the place is well-kept, and by that I mean the grounds themselves are kept meticulously. These folks sure do love their power tools.

| Clean, Courteous, Well-Equipped, Good Value | |
Check-in parking in front of their main building will accommodate the largest RVs. It's obvious that the owners put a lot of thought and effort in the construction and layout of this facility and its maintenance. The check-in counter resembles one in a well-run hotel. Their modern, well-stocked camp store offers not only groceries, RV/camping accessories and supplies but fast-food and ice cream in their snack bar as well. Paved roads and paved campsites throughout the campgrounds were clean and well maintained. Although their lake area and beach were closed, their heated swimming pool sparkled and was clearly being enjoyed even this late in the season.
Their sheltered pavilion is perfect for outdoor group meetings. There is also an indoor meeting room and well-equipped but somewhat dated game room. The laundry facilities were clean, well-equipped and modern. Cable TV is offered but requires a $50 refundable cash deposit for a converter
