We were looking for a place to hold a group campout for our VW Club. This place was on our list of contenders. My husband and I, and another couple showed up to check it out. At first glance, it looked run down. You pull in and there is sites in a large open field for RV's with full hookups. Yuck. Went into the office to talk to someone. She was friendly and nice. She told us they had a group area right across at the edge of the baseball field. It had rained recently and looked wet. Still not a nice place and I wasn't impressed. She then told us we could go up the hill to what they called the 'remote' tent sites. Well, It was on the top of the ridge and it was HEAVEN up there! It was a hot sunny day, yet the breeze was blowing. When we got into the woods, it was easily 10 deg. cooler. It was flat up there and the closest seasonal was in view, but very far. Bathhouse is right there and brand new! Can't wait to camp!

We stayed here in a Truck Camper.
