I would not go to a KOA to relax, as campsites are on top of one another, but this facility is clean, the managers are friendly, the Wi-Fi service is good, and you can order pizza or wings and they will deliver it to your campsite. Our spot #26 did not have a BBQ, only an on-the-ground fire ring pit (dirt hole with rocks around it), whereas every tent site had their own Weber style small kettle BBQ. Not really fair in that regard since water/ electric sites cost more. But we stayed here to be close to the local Holiday Car Show and we will again. Restrooms and showers were very clean and well-maintained.

We stayed here in a Teardrop Trailer.

We had a pull through spot for our pop up trailer with enough room to park another pop up next to us. The staff was amazing and constantly around to help with anything. I never saw the bathroom in a state of disorder. There was never even one piece of trash around the entire campground. The landscaping was maintained well which is the only reason there are shade trees there, since those do not grow well in the area. It is by the road so we took ear plugs for those nights we wanted to go to sleep early but really the road is not heavily traveled. I would stay there any time I plan to visit the sand dunes.

We stayed here in a Popup Trailer.
