Given that this KOA is in what is known as "Little Switzerland" amidst Colorado's magnificent Rocky Mountains, one can't help but have a good time. We stayed there several days and enjoyed excellent meals nightly, our camping site was by a babbling brook, and the location makes it easy to take a day trip to Silverton or Durango or Montrose or even Telluride. The town of Ouray boasts several excellent restaurants, a good cross section of interesting shops, and some fascinating sites to visit. The campground staff is helpful and friendly, and the grounds are very well maintained. This is one of the best KOAs we've visited.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
