My family and I have been going to this KOA for several years. However, this past time we went was horrible. The staff was very unfriendly, all the prices were way too high, and the bathrooms and pool area were dirty. I also witnessed an incident were three workers locked young children in the arcade and yelled at them, accusing them of stealing money from the machines. I stepped in because they were frightening these kids and said they need to back off. I was then forced to pack up my things and leave with my family at 9:30 at night, all while being verbally harassed by one of the crew members. I have never been so disrespected than I have been by the workers at the Hayward KOA. I will never return to this KOA and would strongly discourage anyone from camping here because of how disrespectful and inappropriate my family and I were treated.
