Right on the bay, not the Gulf

I found that the spots were hard to back into because of the many trees. It was quiet but as others have stated the condos kinda spoil the beach. Plus it is kinda convoluted to get to the park.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

We had an amazing site at this park--even had our own little beach and a fabulous view of the Grand Lagoon. There is so much on offer here--beautiful beaches, lots of birds and so much more. If it was anywhere besides Panama City, we would definitely go back. We did not like Panama City at all--too many condos and souvenir shops. If you just stay right at the park, it is wonderful. Loved having the laundry right across from our campsite, and the restrooms were new and very clean.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

I love to go to this park. We had two different RV's and have been there at least ten times in the past ten years. Sometimes twice a year. My ex and I used to spend a couple of weeks at a time fishing and going to the beach. You can rent a campsite on the water and enjoy fishing all night. There is a pier and beaches also. I date someone in a wheelchair now and I still think iit is going to be a wonderful place to visit just takes a while to get there. You can also take bikes and go riding. The staff and visitors are very friendly and sometimes share dinner or a cookout. They also have bonfires in the evenings and boat rentals. I plan to go again in the fall. It is very hard to get a spot so plan early and make reservations.
