A barebones campground

We only stayed here overnight in October, and overnight stays are what the park is good for, in our opinion. They don't have a lot of amenities and the facilities are less than stellar. Only electric and water hookups, though they do have a dump station and clean bathrooms. Nothing else. The staff are friendly but are far too easy going. Security is a bit lax in that anyone can come and go as they please. We visited in the off season and we figured out since the sites are so close together that it would be crowded and claustrophobic here in the summer. Well, we won't come back to find out in any case. If ever we return here, it will be in the off-season.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Great location, not nice facilities

Good: direct access to river, quiet during week.
Bad: glass on beach, no showers or wi-fi, toilets not cleaned during our 5-day visit, cigarette butts on ground,

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
