Local Directions: Boston Harbor Islands are passenger boat accessible only. Camper Ferry Loop is available from Hingham Shipyard commuter dock, 30 Shipyard Drive, Hingham MA 02043 (free parking available when 30 min. early check in). Ferry service with transfer through Georges Island is available at the Fore River Shipyard on Rte. 3A Quincy MA (parking lot available) or Long Wharf North, Boston (commercial parking garages available 5-15 min. walking). Private boaters may off load passengers and equipment at the dock but must anchor off island shore out of the channel fairway. Secure anchoring is the sole responsibility of the boat operator. A dinghy is available at the pier for access to anchored vessels.

Sites 1,2 can accommodate up to 25 people.
Sites 3,4,5 can accommodate up to 30 people.
Group camping fee is $35 for group of 25 and $1 per person over 25.


This national park area has campsites on four of 30 harbor islands and is accessible to the public via passenger ferry service or private boat.

I had a really great experience at this park. the staff was very welcoming and polite. the facilities were clean. we had a nice time at the beach which was surprisingly very clean. overall nice experience.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.
