A peaceful and scenic state park

December 2, 2011
We think this state park is lovely. It's right by the river and the water is shallow and safe enough for the kids to play in. Right by the river bank are picnic tables with barbecues The views are very lovely, and there are lots of animals and birds about. The site we got was shady, gravel and mostly level. It had electric, water and sewer hookups, but no cable TV or wifi. Not that we minded, though, since we were here for the peace and quiet, and that's what we got. There are a lot of trails for hiking and jogging, and there are also paved paths for bikes. The people running the park are a very friendly lot. The park is pretty close to a lot of the local attractions, including SeaWorld.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
