Blackwoods is a great campground, but I personally found the sites a bit too tight for me. We found it a bit difficult to get in, out and around. I wouldn't really recommend this if you're going camping here with a big rig. There are also no hookups here so make sure that you bring a generator and lots of water. Other than that, it's pretty okay: clean bathroom, well laid out and quiet. Personally, I would suggest to try out Seawall if you're looking for something different. It's quite close to the sea and they offer a free shuttle to take you around. The facilities are also much bigger.

We've actually tried both Blackwoods and Seawall. Preferred Blackwoods because it's soooo quiet here. Great to really relax and unwind. |

There are two campgrounds within the park: Blackwoods and Seawall. Both are 10 minutes from the ocean. Stayed at Blackwoods, and it was pretty okay. Although majority of the sites here are tents, there are some sites for RVs that can accommodate up to 35 feet long. No hookups though, but have comfort rooms, dump stations, picnic tables and fire rings. There's a lot of firewood here so you don't need to bring your own. At least you're within the park itself so it's pretty close to anything. |

Yes, I am going camping there with my family and we are considering Blackwoods. I read some reviews about it and seems like a good option for our family. I also suggest you to check the reviews and do the research about it. |
