Yes, it is normal. In fact, there are some that even has more than one extended roadside assistance with an RV club on top of their insurance. They offer more coverage than what most insurance would provide you. I say go for it. You'll be thankful of getting one in the future. |

Take it from me, it is definitely a good investment. I had to learn it the hard way yesterday. Up to yesterday, we only have CoachNet for our roadside assistance. To make a long story short, my car broke down yesterday while I was in the grocery. They sent a person to try to fix it but it still wouldn't start. I tried to have it towed, but they told me that I'm only given one free roadside assistance per breakdown. Since I called again for the tow, they considered it as another roadside assistance for the same breakdown. I ended up having to pay for the tow truck, which they should have brought in the first place! I would have saved myself a lot of heartache if I had more than one. I'm looking for one now. Anyone can give me suggestions? |

Sorry to hear that, padmej. I'm actually thinking of canceling our AAA membership since we just recently got a Good Sam's Insurance and membership. But after reading what happened to you, I think we'd just keep our membership with AAA too. |

I think there is another thread that's similar to this, but to answer the question, I'd say yes! Based on experience, it will save you a lot of frustration. |

Sorry to hear about that, padmej. I'd suggest to go with AAA. Their rates are slightly more expensive than others, but the service and benefits that you can get from being a member is definitely worth every penny. |
