Is it possible for a professional carjacker to drive away with your RV? The thought has been concerning me a lot after watching a random episode of a TV show.
If yes, is there any security options available? |

Hey, I'm back.
I just did a bit of searching online but most of the results return home security systems. I was thinking purchasing a home security solution and installing the cameras that come along with it for the RV [exterior 1 for monitoring and 1 hidden in the dashboard so it can capture the face of the carjacker].
Bestbuy security? Veri-secure? (sounds like a pun) Amazon? CSP? Walmart?
The thing is I have to get one installed asap because I'm flying to Seattle this Thursday for a project. So specs/features don't really matter but it has to do its job well- keep the RV safe while I'm away. Please rate based on your experience with any of these.
Thanks, Nancy!

You don't have a neighbor, friend or relative close by that can keep an eye on it for you ? Security devices are only good at keeping the honest folks honest, if a crook, (especially a pro, as you put it) wants it, he'll have it, and probably take the cameras with him. |

Can't always rely on them you know. Was on a small vacation for 3 weeks. They were, too :/

I heard the opposite, that honest people have no need to install cameras xD To be honest, I have not heard about cases of hijacking of RV |
