We've went camping a few times in Mexico. If you're planning to be camping in that area, make sure that you bring plenty of water with you. Learn also a bit of conversational Spanish. It will come in handy.

We did a couple of years ago. We did our bookings through Camping and Caravaning Club UK to fix all our camping arrangements. Not just the campsites, but also even the insurance and other stuff.

Years ago I Spent 9 months camping overseas in a VW camper. We made it to 21 countries and had a great time. If you are planning on tenting some places do not want you to have the tent floor on the ground all the time. So that is why you might see tents with a sleeping room in it with the floor that can be pulled up during the day just so it will not kill the grass. That was one of the things that we had to do but that's about it. The rest is just camping and having fun!
