Recommended Kids' Camping Book
A good friend of mine recently gave me a copy of this book entitled Camp Out! The Ultimate Kids Guide. It's written by Lynn Brunelle. If you got kids, this is definitely a must-have. Been reading through it and found so many great camping games for kids and other suggestions on how to keep them happy and occupied while camping.

Thanks for the suggestion, madidi! I'm definitely gonna check that one out in Amazon and get a copy.

Re: Recommended Kids' Camping Book
Nice thread! My favorite camping resource book so far is the SAS Survival Handbook. It's quite jam packed with a lot of really neat tips and techniques like understanding basic survival needs, preparing your own survival kit, finding the best location when you go camping, constructing the appropriate shelter, organizing camp, and creating tools. Great resource to help get your kids more prepared and equipped for camping.

Re: Recommended Kids' Camping Book
We actually got an SAS Survival Handbook as well. Really helpful and packed with a lot of useful knowledge. Of course, the way how it's worded can be quite difficult to understand by kids so you really have to understand the stuff here first and then you teach it to your kids. When our kids were younger, we used many of the stuff here as part of our bonding moments.
