With my little ones I got them interested by buying play tents. The 2 best ones I found to help them get enthused about camping are the Little Tikes RV Camper Tent and the Forrest Friends Tent. What I did was set up a back yard mock camping trip and we had a blast! I set up the kids tents and we set up our real tent and we spent the night hoping around different tents or creating our own little fire pit with smores time. The kids truly loved it and we are now planning a real camping trip in Ocala, FL and everyone is on board and excited about it!
