It depends on the terrain. If it happened in a place where there are not that much bushes, trees, and other plant life, josh's method is the best way to go. But if the trail is a bit bushy or there are things that can cause the dressing to get damaged, that's when those waterproof adhesive bandages like NexCare will be the best option.


I completely agree. I usually just use NexCare while we're out hiking or whatever. But when we're back in the Motorhome, I just leave it as is. It heals much faster. Unless it's a really deep wound. Then, I'd use those tapes to help it close.
