Should tent camping be illegal in city parks? I was reading a story about how the Colorado Springs Police Department presented a new ordinance in December to make camping on city property and city parks illegal. They're doing this because the recession has forced families out of their homes and into tent cities in the Colorado Springs area.
Is this right? Shouldn't police be focusing on helping these people? |
