Summer family trip in jeopardy as my brother has a criminal record.
Hi,

I am going with my family in our trailer truck to the US coming summer. My brother had served a one month term in the prison in 2015. While we were searching if that would deny him entry into the US, I found that in such cases one must get a US entry waiver.

He was convicted for frequent traffic violations. But he changed now and never has been in any trouble ever since. So, will it be hard to get the waiver? I read that it may take 6 to 18 months. But how likely is it going to get approved? It's been only 2 years. Does anyone have an idea on this?

Sorry, but I don't know how that works, as I've always been here, but if they evicted all the people in this country that had a record, we'd lose about a third of the population. :(
