| I don't know what's best, the cooler was never a high priority for us, vegetarians and not big beer drinkers. We did purchase a similar cooler to Yeti, a Pelican, just because we were car-camping with a pickup ant tent. Sometimes we we go backpacking in black bear country and I didn't want to leave food in the truck. There are some horrible photos of where bears ripped off car doors etc. So we got the grizzly-proof Pelican, put all our food in it, and chained it to the front bumper when we took off on a multi-day hike. It was our 'bear box.' Otherwise think twice about it, it's heavy and bulky, just like a real bear box. |
