Changing Our Plans Because of the Heat

A few friends and I decided to call off our hiking trip supposedly scheduled this weekend. No way are we ever going out with temps skyrocketing to the 100s. Has anyone here changed or canceled some plans because of the heat?

We've cancelled a few of our camping trips after my daughter suffered from heat stroke a few days ago. Not going to risk anything. We'll make it up later on this year.

Not really cancel. Just rearranged our trips so that we could stay in the relatively cooler areas during this time.
