Been there a couple of times, and it's definitely worth it. The camping sites were a bit small for my liking, but since it's in the middle of nowhere, it's quite private and quiet too.
Some tips:
1. Bring a lot of extra petrol for your car and water for you. It's quite a distance from the nearest gas station so best be prepared for that.
2. Skunks roam about and would try to steal your food so be careful.
3. Speaking of food, make sure that you store it really well. The rangers that roam the campground have told us that there are bears and mountain lions within the area. Although we haven't seen any (thankfully), I'm sure that, like me, you wouldn't want to.
