Best Time to Go Camping in San Antonio?
We've been told that San Antonio is a great place to visit. When is the best time to go there? Would late September through mid-October be okay, or will it still be too hot? Also, what are the places that are nice to check out while we're in San Antonio?

Went there last October. Weather was pretty okay. Not too hot, and not too cold. Make sure that you drop by the Alamo and Riverwalk while you're here. Can't really say you've been to San Antonio unless you've been here.

October will be fine. But if you really want to get the most out of your trip to San Antonio, I'd suggest to hold off until their Fiesta held usually during April. We went there a few times. Really fun. Had the time of our lives there.

Been to the Fiesta as well and it was really worth it. Just a lot of people though so make sure that you make reservations in campgrounds way ahead of time.

River Walk, the Market Square, King William Historic District, the Alamo. Don't also forget to take some time to go through the mission trail. It's about 12 miles long, but definitely worth it.
