Suggestions for Thanksgiving Camping
We're planning on going camping for Thanksgiving. We initially planned on going to Sequoia National Park. Unfortunately, the forecast is that winter will be starting soon and it might end up being way too cold for the kids. Can anyone suggest for other campgrounds within 100 miles from Orange County, CA?

Re: Suggestions for Thanksgiving Camping
How about Huntington Beach? We tried Bolsa Chica State Beach RV park and it was okay. They got electric and water hookups and there are dump stations adjacent to many of the sites. There are also picnic areas, restrooms and showers. It's also near Dog Beach, so if you got a pet, you can take your dog with you here, for as long as it's tied to a leash. The beachfront row is about $65/night. A bit steep, yes, but it's worth it.

You can try doing a search here in the Campgrounds tab for campgrounds within that radius your looking at.
