Hi there -
I'm designing a van conversion and I will use a Camp Chef Everest / MS2HP camp stove. This stove has a regulator and rigid tube assembly that connects to a 1-lb propane bottle. I want to lose the regulator and rigid tube, and use a bulk bottle with it's own a hose and regulator instead.
2 questions:
1) What pressure regulator do I need? They seem to come in 5-10-15 lb sizes.
2) What size fitting do I need on the stove end of the hose? My Coleman has a similar setup, and the female fitting on the rigid tube measures right at 1/2" ID. Is the Camp Chef the same? And does it take flared or NPT threads?
Finally - where can I get one of these hoses with he correct regulator and fitting already on it? I would rather not have to hack something together...!
