| Nice enough field camping |
The sites in the 40s and over and on a big field, so that was slightly disappointing. 64 & 65 were prime sites located not too close, but not to far from the washing area, showers and bathrooms and directly across from playground. Hot showers and flush toilets that were kept relatively clean over the long Memorial Day Weekend.
There is no camp store, but camp office sells firewood for $7 a cord if you catch them when they are open. Turkey Hill in East Stroudsburg has wood if you miss them.
We had a bear in the trees above the campground on our last day but overall uneventful with the local fauna.
Turtle Beach is a huge bust and not worth the extra fee; it is worth the drive to another swimming area.
Van Campens Glen was a nice little hike, as was Buttermilk Falls.
We stayed here in a Tent.
