| Good place to spend the night. | This campground has large sites and that is about it. We enjoyed our stay here, as we were attending a University of Illinois Football game and didn't want to have to drive the whole way home. This campground is less than 20 minutes from U of I campus.

This campground has a small area for "weekenders". The pool was very nice with baby pool and hot tub-lifeguard on duty. We really enjoyed walking through the campgrounds on the paved roads and looking at the permament sites with beautiful landscaping. The fish were not biting while we were there, but we did go out on a row boat. It was a windy day and when I could not get the boat back in, the lifeguard brought a boat out and towed me in. I was really glad he was there!! The beach was really nice and each morning it was raked and cleaned up. There was grills at the beach and I would like to go back when the weather is a little better and take advantage of that! There is also a small arcade and activitities in the pavilion.

Close to beach, beautiful tall grass surrounding camp sites. The campsites are good sizes. Be careful of poison ivey in the surrounding woods. You can count on seeing a few deer and wild turkeys if you are there at the right time. There are some great trails for hiking and the beach is really nice.

Although it is expensive, you definately get your money's worth with the excellent activities here! Kids and adults alike will enjoy the jumping pillow, "water park" and great activities. While we were there, we enjoyed a dance, "horse racing" and candy bar bingo.

This simple campground was a perfect spot for fall camping. We were very close to Starved Rock and Mattheson Park for hiking. We are definately going back! We were pleased to find a shop on the grounds to purchase wood, marshmellows, etc.

This campground is between Bloomington and Peoria, just off the highway. Bathrooms and pool are in excellent condition and the management is extremely helpful. With the highway and railroad tracks so close, I do not recommend this for tent campers, but this is a great spot to spend the night if you are traveling on I74.

We always have found the bathrooms and pool to be in excellent condition. We really enjoy the playground with newer equipment and sand volleyball, (where my kids build castles).

We have always found the bathrooms and pool to be in excellent condition. The kids enjoy the activities, like karaoke and scavenger hunts. They also have peddle carts that you can rent-very tiring, but the kids love it!

| Excellent for Family Fun! | Many pools, activities for kids all day long, very well kept facilities. This campground is an anual stop for us. We come with another family and between us have kids ranging from 2-18 and all the kids really enjoy this place. With additional activities like acade, to the drive in movie and arts and craft center, there is always something fun to do! This is one of the most expensive campgrounds that we go do, but it is well worth the money because of all the activities and upgraded facilities.
