| Disappointed with staff, but not bad. | The main staff person , Jeff, is very friendly and seems to want to make your stay pleasant. But the others are not so nice, loud in morning, etc. Coming to the positives - lovely campground, you get more than your share of solitude. Very very calm. The town is not doing well, and there is nothing much you can do in the area.

| Peaceful, isolated, close to caverns. | Pretty far from the highway and not many stores around - so be prepared for it. Only 45 minutes to Carlsbad Caverns. The park is on high ground so it was windy. It overlooks a reservoir. There is not much that you can do here it is basically a quiet place to camp. If we returned to see the caverns we would probably only stay overnight and be on our way.

| Recommend this well maintained site. | The staff is fantastic and facility well maintained. The sites are dirt with some grave. The location is right by Conejos River, and we saw lot of people enjoy fishing. On holidays they have many activities planned. Highly recomend it!

Very good park. Our family and friends there in Oregon last weekend and we hope to go there ourselves. Nice RV spots and being by the lake seemed great from the pictures. Its a big lake so we were forewarned it can sometimes get windy but its the coast right. Its close to everything and definitely worth trying out

| Noisy because of trains and highway | but convenient also because of its location. Decent maintenance and no complaints. The other campground Bridge very close to it is a little less noisy I think. Enjoy the beautiful views of the gorge, be sure to check out the cute city of Hood River, and Multnomah falls.

The park is nice and clean park and right on the Columbia River although there is no beach access from the park. Enjoyed exploring the Columbia River Gorge from the Oregon side. The park is near the Hood River bridge so you can go back and forth between Washington and Oregon. Be sure to check out the Orchards in the Hood River city, and also Multnomah falls.

| Great campground, good and clean facilities. | A bit under priced for a fantastic little cabin. Working air, electric, dishes, fire place, etc. As long as we understand It's not a hotel but camping, it's rustic, and it's fantastic. family owned. very reachable. Overall, a good place with nice scenery..beautiful river....and the the train is sparse and cute as well..

| It was okay, but Camped at better places.. | The owner and the lady at the desk were most pleasant and friendly. Cheap, but you get what you paid for. Not very clean. Not much privacy with loud close camps. Location was good but some campers seemed to be there not much for camping, but for staying, if you know what I mean.

Our family stayed at this KOA in our travel trailer; my friends stayed in one of their primitive cabins as well. The campground was beautiful, from the entrance to the office to the sites. It's a family-owned campground, so the staff is mostly family. Everyone was very friendly and we encountered no bad surprises. Clean facility.

| Your typical campground, but with beautiful views | We went there on our 2nd day of camping after visiting St Helens. Takhlakh Lake is situated on the northwest side and at the base of Mt. Adams in the State of Washington. This location offers breathtaking views of not only Mt. Adams, but also Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Saint Helens. So I would definietly recommend this park for its location.
