| Half of sites on the creek | Lovely, private campsites on South Fork of Rio Grande in Colorado mountains. Cool in July. Fire ban on so we missed the campfire, but husband and grandson could fish the creek/river. Our site was one that backed up right to the creek. Clean 😊pit toilets. Only downside was highway noise (US 160) on one side and a busy FS gravel road across the creek. After dark it was fairly quiet. Located 7 miles to So Fork, CO. Good fishing!

| Convenient location near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park | An older RV park. Facilities are old but clean and maintained. Staff friendly. Water and electric worked well. Water and electric sites were in a field and wi-fi would not work there. The open field provided no privacy. Storage RVs were at front and made the entrance appear junky. Staff friendly and helpful.

| Good choice. Stay here when going into Boston. | A very well-kept older RV park. Attractive with trees and natural type landscaping. Privacy between many of the campsites. Campfires allowed. Office personnel very friendly, efficient and helpful. Sites awkward to get into because of trees, but the owners offered helpful tips to get us backed in. Roads are gravel and if they were paved, would rate 5 stars.

| An Rv park that lives up to its advertising. | Stayed here while visiting Washington, DC. Impressed with such a large park that keeps up with maintenance and is able to have a friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable staff. Got lots of helpful info about using the Metro to DC and what to visit. Camping facilities were excellent. Great pool and kid areas for families. Pricey but worth it.

| Nice state park for a weekend or overnight stop | We stopped here overnight while driving IH-40. The park is only about 7 miles off the road and easy to get to. Sites are large and private. Flat and good pavement in campground. Utilities worked well. Friendly staff. Discount for seniors even from out of state. Small lake in park also.

| Crowded parking for medium sized rvs. | Randomly spaced sites, large trees and numerous tree roots made for a tight fit in our 27 foot fifth wheel. Lack of signs directing you to the park in the middle of town also is a problem. Poorly marked entrance. Town roads tight and congested getting there. Price ok, but sites are poor and more like a RV park than a state park. Not at all like the pictures found online. Water and electricity OK.

this is a place you will return to. The best of the Texas Hill Country. A great family park with nature activities that even the youngest camper can enjoy. there is shallow water for wading and for non-swimmers and rocks to climb over and jump from when it rains, there is a flowing creek with a waterfall. You can hike all day, or swim/fish all day, or a mixture. Campsites have lots of liveoak shade. Lots of wildlife. Not crowded in the fall and winter during the week. Make reservations.

Except for staying in our RV, we felt like we were at a nce family hotel. Loved the breakfast--many choices for a light breakfast.. The pool area was immaculate and great for swimming. the hot tub was clean and worked! Sites were easy to get in and everything was spotless. the only downside was the wind. Nothing to be done for that, though!
Stayed here twice and would return. We like to dry camp in national forests, but this was like a vacation with luxury.

| quiet rv park with large trees | this is an attractive, shaded RV park that gently slopes down to the clear-running Chama River. The park is located a short distance out of town and not far from the Chama narrow-guage railroad station. Large cottonwood trees, roomy sites with easy back-ins. The owners are on-site, are friendly and helpful. All is very neat and quiet, but still appears "natural". Secure WIFI that actually works. 3 levels of pricing depending on how close to the river. Would return for another visit. The sign is hard to spot from the highway. We had to turn around and go back. They need a new sign! It was worth the turnaround...
